Highlights

Porpoise & Dolphin

Harbour Porpoises are often seen in Mounts Bay along with a variety of dolphin species. It's always a thrill when they bow ride with us.

St. Michael's Mount

Island home to a medieval castle, reached by causeway, with Norman church and sub-tropical gardens.

Sea Birds

Watch gannets, shearwaters, storm petrels, fulmars and puffins in their natural environment.

Penzance & Mounts Bay

With its stunning views across the bay, the historic fishing port of Penzance is the perfect base from which to explore southwest Cornwall.

Minack Theatre

Cornwall's world famous open-air theatre, carved into the granite cliff overlooking the spectacular panorama of Porthcurno Bay.

Grey Seals

Be entertained by our local population of grey seals bobbing about close to shore or basking in the sun on rocky outcrops.

Longships Lighthouse

Active lighthouse, dating back to the 19th century, built on an islet off the coast near Land's End.

Shark & Whale

We're often treated to sightings of basking sharks around Mounts Bay. Later in the season, minke whales make an appearance too.

Arriving in mid to late summer.  They can be seen lying on the water surface with their dorsal fin slowly flapping to and fro.  Strange behaviour you may think, but nature has it’s…

Respecting Habitats
